Leonardo is an Argentine-American filmmaker with an Masters In Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He has shot numerous award-winning films and his work has been screened in festivals worldwide such as Cannes, South By South West, Palm Springs, and Plus Camera Image .
His work on the film Bella Fleace Gave a Party was nominated for a cinematography award by the American Cinematography Society and he was also nominated by Arri Camera for the Volker Bahanemann Cinematography Award. His directorial debut feature film, Aventurera, earned him the Argentine Director's Guild prize of "Best Argentine Director" at the 29th Mar Del Plata International Film Festival in Argentina.
Leonardo's passion for visual storytelling has brought him to work all over the world. Whether fiction, documentary or commercial, he is intent on developing an original aesthetic for each project to support and enhance the story.
Leonardo is currently based between France and the United States and works both as a director and director of photography in film and television. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
