Leonardo is an Argentine-American filmmaker with a Masters In Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. His directorial debut feature film, Aventurera, earned him the Argentine Director's Guild prize of "Best Argentine Director" at the 29th Mar Del Plata International Film Festival in Argentina. Most recently, Leonardo worked as director on the last two seasons of the Netflix show Narcos Mexico.

His work as a cinematographer has been screened in festivals worldwide and he was nominated for a cinematography award by the American Cinematography Society and by Arri Camera for the Volker Bahanemann Cinematography Award.

 

Leonardo is currently based between France and the United States and works both as a director and director of photography in film and television. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
